*Although we don't manufacture these bands ourselves, we've been in the wholesale costume jewelry business for more than 20 years, selling mail-order to stores and craft fair vendors. From time to time, we bought a wedding band from our supplier and sold it at cost to friends, hating to see them ripped off by the outrageous prices in the malls. (The typical mark-up on jewelry is 3 times wholesale--called "Triple Keystone".)
Soon we started to wonder if people on the internet would like to buy a wedding band at a reasonable price. We started out selling only one style of ring--a plain band in a choice of 3 widths. In time we found a new supplier whose rings are heavier-weight, and carry almost every style imaginable. You've probably seen their rings at the jewelry store in your local mall. Our sales and list of satisfied customers keep multiplying.
We've lived in Payson since 1971 and have a very good reputation in the community.
My name is Anne Bown and I built and designed this site myself, after buying a book and teaching myself HTML. Me - a mother of 8 and grandma to 8. It's sure more fun than vacuuming! Now, however, my talented and brilliant son, along with some (almost) equally talented and brilliant sons in law, have polished and updated the site so that it works better and is easier to maintain.
On January 26th 2003, we lost our beautiful 18-year-old daughter, Gaea in a tragic automobile accident. If you want to know more about Gaea and the kind of girl she is, here is a website honoring her.
We are grieving, but because of our faith in the Lord, we know we will have her with us in the next life. We are devout members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) and believe that our family will be together forever.
In July of 2003, Acell and I were privileged to serve a mission for our church in the Singapore Mission. We served in Sri Lanka and East Malaysia.
